“Fear means GO”

So we’ve officially made it past the first week of 2013. Amazing, right?! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I just returned to the Bahamas yesterday from an awesome 2 weeks in Canada. Gotta love that snow! (Ha)

Since it’s the beginning of the year, I want to share something I found inspirational on the page of one of my favourite Facebook groups: https://www.facebook.com/happyblackwoman. As you make your plans for this year, create your vision boards, consider jet-setting, etc. I do hope that you take this awesome quote by Betty Bender (and the follow-up sentiment of ‘Happy Black Woman’ founder, Rosetta Thurman) into consideration. Fear Means GO

All the best for the year ahead. Release the fear. Happy travels!

  2. Oh, also we hooked up with the tourism board and they have this program (not sure if you have heard of it) called People-to-people program where they have a resident host you. We dont need to have someone have us in ther home but we are excited about having someone show us around and to learn about the “soul” of the island. I mean we are soul trekkers after all!
